ZAMZAR - Free On-line File Conversion

Zamzar is a website that converts your files (songs, videos, images, and documents) into different formats.  There are several file formats that can be converted to, it all depends on what file do you need for your particular project.  The site offers the conversation (up to 100MB) for free, but there is also a paid account that allow for managing of files up on a server.

Introduction to Movie Maker (Windows platform)

The tutorial demonstrates the tools that allow you to record, arrange and edit movies on your computer.  The interface of Movie Maker is a simple drag-and-drop of files into a timeline. There are three sections of the tutorial that provides general overview on the application (interface, recording, editing). Movie Maker is one of the largest used Windows applications for video editing.
